About me

My name is Dmitrii Boikov, a senior Software Developer. I started working remotely only because it allowed me to travel the world. I don't travel as often as I used to, but I change my base every 1-2 years, currently in Armenia. Next base will be in Thailand, and I hope to make a base in Uruguay or Paraguay one day. I'm attentive to details and love to work on meaningful projects. Not a fan of Web3(probably I'll write a post about it) and not that big of a fan of LLM(blog post about it in progress) because it's a high risk for any project that will try to utilize it, in addition to privacy and security concerns.

I absolutely love to read. The only reason I learned English was that it unlocked a path to read books that were not translated. I love history, philosophy, and fiction(almost any). I am currently reading "Humanly Possible" by Sarah Bakewell, a great book about the history of Humanism.
