I joined the company in its early days, and I've been a core developer of the frontend application since then.
Sometimes it can be rough due to the startup nature of the company and changing requirements, but the right set of tools and architectural choices makes the development process much simpler.
On this project, I faced many challenges. I listed below just some of them:
- How can I develop and test complex components without integrating them into the application first?
- How can I better capture users' journeys in the app while still following PII compliance?
- How can I find a balance between new requirements from our partners and the application's resilience?
I addressed those challenges by using Storybook for UI testing of complex components, integrating Sentry and Clarity to track our users' journeys, and solving problems in real time. As for architecture, it's hard to explain without revealing project details, but growth, user satisfaction, and partner satisfaction speak for themselves.
I'm still learning and using new technologies. Alongside work, I started making this website, read many books, learned Next.js, and got my hands on a lot of new tools.
